General Georgia Scholarships and Grants
There are many scholarships in Georgia available to students who are residents of and attending college in Georgia. You are considered a Georgia resident if you have lived there for 12 months immediately before beginning college. You’ll automatically be considered for many state scholarship opportunities when filling out the FAFSA.
Georgia College Completion Grant

Eligibility: Georgia residents who are working to complete a college degree. Applicants must have completed at least 80% of the credit requirements for their current degree. You must also have an outstanding balancing or financial aid gap.
Georgia Mining Foundation Scholarship

Eligibility: High school seniors attending school in one of the 112 Georgia counties that the Georgia Mining Association operates in. Applicants must be planning to attend a university in Georgia.
Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant Program

HOPE Scholarship

REACH Georgia Scholarship Program

Eligibility: A need-based mentorship and scholarship program for students starting in middle school. Students must be Georgia residents and maintain a GPA of at least 2.5, have good attendance and good behavior, and remain drug- and alcohol-free.
